It’s ‘guess the decade’ as the 33 limited edition pieces of Topshop’s Archive collection, based on iconic designs in the brand’s history, launches today. There’s classic smock dresses and stripey tees, poofy prom dresses, a lurex halter dress and denim cut offs. And, if the face looks familiar, it’s because it’s Ella Richards – granddaughter of Keith. The 25th anniversary celebrations of the Asics GEL-LYTE III continue apace, with some outstanding takes on the classic runner silhouette. Latest in a line that’s included Boston-based streetwear store Concepts is the limited edition ‘Dotty’, offspring of ASICS Tiger and long time retail partner Colette. The ‘Dotty’ is covered, laces to sole, with the cult Colette blue Pantone polka dots – and, despite a July launch date, is already extremely difficult to get hold of.


This Saturday, New York designer Jonathan Simkhai lands at with an accomplished collection of cut-out bodycon dresses. His inspiration – competitive swimming – has proved the perfect starting point of Simkhai’s signature mix of menswear codes, sportive influences and rich textiles, with mesh providing an injection of cool sensuality into the clothing. What to look out for? The Parsons graduate has a way with sexy separates that’s hard to beat.
