Inside out for Fashion Revolution

Fashion Revolution Day invited figures including Livia Firth, Caryn Franklin, singer VV Brown, Louis Smith, Mary Portas, Harold Tillman, Jo Wood and myself to pose for images promoting its campaign for greater transparency in the fashion industry.
And earlier this week, Emma Slade Edmondson, founder of styling consultancy backofthewardrobe.com, did the same with young fashion and lifestyle bloggers and designers.
'They might seem like the more unlikely of suspects to be getting behind Fashion revolution Day,' smiles Edmondson. 'But I believe there is a younger generation of fashionistas who are all about working together, particularly for change where this issue is concerned and certainly to support one another.
In keeping with backofthewardrobe.com's philosophy - making better use of your existing clothes - pieces belonging to the women that had not been worn for a while were creatively styled up. Then, to tie into the theme of the day, they were worn inside out before being photographed.
'We were working with the idea that you can get more wears from what you have simply by using your imagination,' says Emma. 'With these images, we're joining the call to action for transparency in the industry and encouraging people to ask - 'who made my clothes?'
