Fashion Week preview: LCF Womenswear MA
The college shows may be the longest but they're so rich in content and ideas, it's utterly worth it. This Thursday, the day before London Fashion Week's official kick-off, 12 students from this year's London College of Fashion's prestigious MA Fashion Design Technology Womenswear course will be sending collections down the catwalk.
The students were selected by a panel of key industry figures including i-D’s Julia Sarr-Jamois, Hunger's Holly Fraser, Fenwick's Amandine Hayward, Becc Gray of Bloody Gray.
Here's a sneak peek of key pieces from each student's collection, expertly interpreted by a crack shoot team that includes Anders Sølvsten Thomsen and Felix Cooper. Note the international flavour of the students' names: talent is coming from all over the world to learn at the creative hub that is LCF.
Can't make it? Don't worry. The show will be livestreamed, at 7pm, at the London College of Fashion's channel on the University of the Arts London website: http://www.arts.ac.uk/fashion/channel/ as well as at www.notjustalabel.com
