He has created sets for Lanvin and Bulgari, for Tim Walker and Alexander McQueen but artistic director Simon Costin's true passion lies in British folklore.

Clarks is inspired by the V&A's collection of vintage footwear, Jacey Withers by the sea and Ultra Tee by antique prints and flowers.
