What's new: Charlotte Tilbury, Azzi Glasser and 'Bud' Crosthwait
The interest in fashion illustration continues apace as specialists Gray M.C.A present the work of illustrator Irwin ‘Bud’ Crosthwait. Crosthwait, who was born in Canada at the start of the first World War, worked prolifically between the 1940s and the 1970s. A selling exhibition of over 60 original fashion illustrations and abstract oils, demonstrates the breadth of his work as fine art student, war artist and, in his final incarnation, fashion illustrator, appearing regularly within the leading fashion publications. Many are unseen works, recently discovered within the home of Bud's muse Ursula Frey. A free talk will take place every day at 1.30pm exploring the importance of fashion illustration today and Crosthwait’s place in it.
